In your eyes
Forever is an eternity
It’s time to be born
Time to fade into tomorrow
Become a star
Burn from bright into night
Spin a molten core
Into permanent rock
Turn snowflakes into ice
Crown a mountain into clouds
Trickle a stream into a river
Wash my soul, embrace it pure
Show my heart to believe in faith
That a love that does not yield or quit
Is forever.

This poem is incredibly touching. Reading it, the truths it contains helps me to not view life’s unstoppable circle as a horrible thing. It reminds me of how one can take strength from even the worst of circumstances, and how with the right effort nothing is ever truly lost, only changed.
