I am purple — royal — wrapped
a monarch with a sceptre — scented
gold be the purpose — powdered
ink that divines — my kingdom
I am a ray of white — sunlight
blinded — impenetrable — bright
a dissected rainbow — in my sight
reflected on the unscribed — wax
I am an emerald chain — free
upon these lands — to see
to make — to write — eternity
in the death — of a petal
