molten
heat
an ion
supercharged
with passion
lust
migrating
a wunderlust
pulling at
magnetic
blood
hardened
split
between
worlds and states
sex in a stream
devourers
sirens
succubus
running
flowing
openings
ones and O’s
plugins
switching
singing
of the spring
you fuse
electrify
jealous
desire
move
easy
call me
illuminate
a wire
wet
water
sex
on fire.

Submitted as part of “National/Global Poetry Writing Month” (#NaPoWriMo #GloPoWriMo).
Today’s prompt: Day Twelve: “I’m calling this one “Past and Future.” This prompt challenges you to write a poem using at least one word/concept/idea from each of two specialty dictionaries: Lempriere’s Classical Dictionary and the Historical Dictionary of Science Fiction. A hat tip to Cathy Park Hong for a tweet that pointed me to the science fiction dictionary and to Hoa Nguyen for introducing me to the Classical Dictionary.”
Author’s Note: My inspiration for this poem came from (i) “Goniädes, nymphs in the neighbourhood of the river Cytherus” and (ii) Cyborg (n. 1960) “a living organism whose body has been modified to include both biological and mechanical components.”

Too much? ?
Elizabeth Boquet says
No! Not at all. Hot stuff! (And I am NOT referring to my hot flashes…wise guy.)
