Caught within a snow globe
from dusted dream I awoke
liquid paint, an illuminated saint
leech the Pleiades, cut the light to bleed
Caught within a snow globe
broken feathers fill the air
Caught within a snow globe
wielded hypothesizes, empty promises
cracking open firmament’s marrow
sunrise, an insectarium, butterflies
Caught within a snow globe
glued wings a wallpaper window
Caught within a snow globe
a tailor’s threads, a rainbow shred
rend me a comet’s tail
A palimpsest, a children’s chest
there I rest, in slumber dressed
Caught within a snow globe.
