“A Study in Yellow #6: Ben’s Paw Prints”
Paw prints
into my heart
Dancing in the fresh snow
Muddied upon upon the floor
following you everywhere
A mark against a window
Swatted on my face
your pads pulse with life
Grasping tight a toy
Digging into my denim jeans
holding on against the corners
Tearing through the gift wrap
Tucked against my nose
inhaled you into my soul
Grasped in hands we hold
Golden clasps connect
paw prints held for eternity.

Can you please tell me how to make a paw prints. I would like to make one for my dying dog Risal. She is 18 years old and 8 months now 🙁

Ultimately I found a ceramic maker and enlisted them in my project. The paw prints were made in clay, then transferred to plaster to create a mold that was the used to stamp the plate. If you only want the prints, there are plaster kits at places like Michaels crafts …kits often used to capture “children’s” hand prints. Hope this helps.
