Captured caught and held
— still within your embrace
Frozen seconds bound together
— my tears run cold
Sky chained from white to grey
— yearning I cannot bend
Prisms imprison the daylight
— my eyes search the twinkles
Nature’s ballet cast in glass
— I lay prostrate on your belly
Unbroken fragility wrapped crystal tight
— my fingers stretch into you
Perfection shatters beneath our feet
— held captured caught within a lens.

My favorite of the series. I really like your new blog look, especially the Ben-O-Rama slideshow. 🙂

Thank you, Julie, for that feedback. I was going to ask people which their favourites are when the series ends. I really love how these branches turned out, though. Their geometry and contrast are very cool. Thanks also about the Ben-O-Rama slider. He will live on forever …. 🙂

Gorgeous! Liking the new look of your blog, Dale!

Thanks Dale. I needed a new hobby — i.e. creating the new look — like I needed a hole in the head, but I think it suits me and the content. I’m glad you’re liking it too. You helped give me the nudge to finally make the move, so thank you. 🙂
