Shadows upon the road
Taken memories
Cast against sky azure
Peering upon the sundial
Moving micro minutes
Direction is a circle
Our lives are choices made
Consequences enclosed
Upon destiny’s arc.

I love your poetry, that’s all I want to say, love it.
Dale says
Thank you Jan. You have me blushing with you kindness. It is truly wonderful to have a fan. Thank you. ?
Spike Robson says
Wonderful, poetic and meaningful.
Dale says
Thank you kindly. It is meaningful to hear that you read it that way too.
John Dalla Costa says
The poetic concision is profoundly ethical: ‘choices enclosing consequences’ entwines act and outcome. Reminds me of St. Augustine, who wrote: “truth is what you do.”
Dale says
You bring a great smile to my face, John. You’re very much in my mind. I love the concision and intellectual poignancy of St Augustine’s plain language. Many good reasons why he’s a Saint. ?
