They are breathtaking year round. The foot bridge is a challenge for me, as I am terrified of heights, but the contrast of the power of the falls and people fly fishing a 100 metres, maybe not as much, below them is fantastic.

I suppose it is ironic, given the context, that I only know the Fall’s other seasons through other’s photography, but, yes, I’m quite sure every season adds something a little different. I’ll confess that the footbridge was challenging for us both for exactly the same reason … so I’m a little more proud of the shots because I had to work through the fear to get over the edge. Having done so, it was, “Wow.” Hypnotic, but you can be sure I was mindful of my mortality as I peered into the frozen depths. And, yes, the contrast of other mortals near its edges adds much to the sheer power of nature, unleashed. Thanks for thoughtful comment, truly. 🙂

Thank you for the comment, Mar. It was definitely a neat experience to be ‘atop’ and look down the throat of a frozen waterfall.

Thank you. The interplay of different forces of nature and its textures and colours produced a spectacle more amazing than we expected to find. Glad you liked them too. ?
