Colours pool in solitude – painted – brushes
weather washes away – watery – reflections
swallowing whole swatches – summer – swirls
autumn awe solemn bare – cracking – crumbling
diving down a mermaid den – sultan’s – glen
rouge rapt on smitten cheeks – reeds – rise
a peacock peeks – revenant – revivalent
bending back, forward bent – luminescence – sent.
