I have so enjoyed hearing about Ben. And would like to find out what his diet was. Our Sparty only 11 years old, suffers from kidney stones. He had an operation to remove them, but they are back. I can tell he does not feel well by his cranky disposition. A low phosphorus diet might be the answer. He is suppose to eat only UD SCIENCE diet canned food and UD dry dog food. He hates this stuff. Any suggestions? Hs been my best friend and also my husband’s buddy. Can you help Sparty?

Hi Dorothy — Thank you for stopping by and sharing in my story about Ben. In terms of Sparty and your search for a low-phosphorus diet, have you read my posted recipe here? I ask because your comment isn’t placed in proximity to this, so perhaps you haven’t seen it. If you have, and still have a question, perhaps I’ve missed your meaning and, if so, I apologise … but it sure sounds like this recipe and all the comments that have come with it will answer your questions. Hope this helps.
