Fragile Worlds

In a moment, the world can change …. In one moment what was but a fragile orchid that I by chance encouraged to re-flower, became even more rare.

One afternoon last fall, I returned from outside to find a dragon fly, slowed by the cold, had hitched a ride indoors on my shoulder. When I moved a finger near, it alighted from me to the orchid. What transpired was an hour-long photo shoot while I clicked shot after shot of this fragile world that, in an instant, was magically constructed from the ordinary ….
