What a difference a week makes — two weekends ago there was snow up to my waist and beautiful winter vistas. A few days later, ice rain and the snow became hard meringues. And after a weekend of rain and thaw, half the snow is gone and the pristineness of winter is past.
Too bad that all your pristine snow has been slushified. It’s been the winter of fog in these parts. No snow and above freezing every day. I have a feeling that we’ll get our winter at the very end just when we’re all gearing up for spring. Not looking forward to it.
