      It’s a very beautiful bit of verse. It’s all I could think of when I looked at the wisp of lightning captured ….

        I consider myself very lucky, to have been introduced to Leonard Cohen’s songs and poems at a young age. I’ve been following every thing hes’ done since. Also been to quite a few of his concerts. He’s an exceptional artist, one who fills the world with light. 🙂

          I agree … I think you were very lucky. I had studied him as a poet while a student, but I was a young adult living in Poland when discovered him as songwriter … introduced to his music by my Polish friends. While he’s since become a larger celebrity in this country, now recognized and known by many, it does say a lot about this country and culture that I had to leave to learn.

            Yes, I was quite surprised to learn that he was not as popular in Canada or the US as much as he was in Europe and Israel.
            But I’m glad things have changed and he is getting more respect and recognition in Canada and the US. Better late than never… 🙂
